Online courses are a perfect way to enhance your skills and move up the career ladder. While joining a program is easy, completing is not! Procrastination and poor time management skills are largely to be blamed. If time management is a problem for you, here are a few tips to help you:

Schedule your day ahead:

Identify the tasks you have to get done at the beginning of the day and plan your activities accordingly. Make sure you dedicate a set time for each of the tasks. For example, if you’ve decided to complete a reading assignment, set an alarm to help you remind about the task.

Stop doing stupid things:

How much time do we waste doing things we needn’t or shouldn’t do? What are your priorities? What are the things that you’re doing that are not important? Trying to cram in as many activities as you can in a single day is sure to leave you stressed and unproductive. Think about the time you waste doing unproductive things like catching up on social media, going out with friends just because you want to fit in, etc. Edit these things out; instead, do things that contribute positively to your life; it could be something about work, about studies, or your relationship.

Pay attention to the class:

Make sure that you pay attention to the video lecture; this could help you reduce half the study time. You’ll know where to look for things, and how to do go about working on the assignment. Instructors make sure that you have enough material to work on the assignment through their video lectures.
